Angus Dick is a game artist and animator that I’ve known for years now. We first met at EGX Rezzed, an indie games expo that takes place near Easter at the Tobacco Docks in London. He was showcasing a game there that eventually saw the light of day this year, and he’s also worked at a few studios, so he’s seen a lot of what the games industry can be like.
As always, our chat was very open and streamlined, and he told me some very enlightening things about his experiences in the industry, his excitement for what Game Workers Unite are doing, and also his apprehension and concern over a few things – something that I really appreciated. Here’s an extended version of what he told me.
